Laurent Nilles is an award-winning travel photographer from Luxembourg, whose passion it is to capture the diversity of cultures all over the world with his camera.
His photos and stories have been published in magazines such as animan (Switzerland), GEO (France), Globetrotter (Switzerland), Le Temps d'un Voyage (France), Revue and Reesen (both Luxembourg), The Travel Club (UK) and unterwegs... (Germany) and his work has been recognized in many international exhibitions, among which the British Journal of Photography's prestigious Portrait of Humanity award, the Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) award or the JRNY World Travel Photography Awards.
In 2022, his solo exhibition "Devotion" on religious beliefs worldwide was part of the programme of the European Capital of Culture Esch 2022 and has been largely acclaimed by visiting audiences. This success has been repeated with another solo exhibition "Mascarade" in 2023, focusing on the traditions of masks all over the World.
He has also been awarded the EFIAP distinction by the International Federation of Photographic Art.
